A district title banner going up in the gym is a moment the whole programme remembers.
It is also a piece of signage that will be looked at every single day by every student who walks through that room, long after those players have graduated, moved away and had children of their own who go to the same school. Very little else we print has that lifespan.

If your programme wins regularly, design the first banner as part of a system. Same size, same layout, same typography, same colour treatment, with only the year and the title changing.

Once a set has drifted, you cannot bring it back without replacing everything, which is why this decision matters more at banner one than at banner six.
