Almost everything else on this website starts here. The banners, the vehicle wraps, the wall murals, the lobby signs, the yard signs on every front lawn in the district on senior night. They all come off the same printers in our shop in Anna, TX.
What separates a good print job from a disappointing one is rarely the machine. It is whether the shop understood the substrate before it hit print. Backlit film needs a different ink lay than vinyl. Perforated media needs different artwork treatment. A mural panel break in the wrong place is visible from across the room forever. None of that is visible on a quote and all of it decides whether you are happy in year three.
iCandy Grafix runs roll-to-roll and flatbed large format printing for businesses across McKinney, Frisco, Plano, Allen, Prosper and the wider Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Digital prints typically go out in 2 to 3 business days.
AI, EPS, or PDF with fonts outlined. Vector files scale to any size without losing edge quality, which matters enormously when a logo goes from a business card to four feet wide and every soft edge becomes six inches of blur.
This is the part people get wrong in both directions.
Large format work is viewed from feet away, not inches, so it does not need the 300 dpi that print designers are trained to supply. A 300 dpi file at ten feet wide is an enormous file that gains you nothing visible and slows everything down.
The trap in the other direction is more common: a 2,000 pixel wide image will not enlarge to twelve feet. No software invents detail that was never captured, whatever the AI upscaling marketing says. We will tell you before you pay for the print rather than after.
Send what you have. Peyton vectorizes and redraws artwork as a normal part of the job here, not as an inconvenience. Logos pulled off old websites, scanned from letterheads, photographed off a van door, we have rebuilt all of those. It is a matter of time and cost, and we quote it up front.
Send Pantone or CMYK values and we will match them on press.
For brand-critical colours, ask for a printed proof before we commit the full job. This is the only reliable way to be certain, because a colour on a backlit monitor and the same colour on matte vinyl are two genuinely different things, and the difference is larger than most people expect. A corporate blue that looks right on screen can come off press looking flat on a matte substrate and slightly purple on a gloss one.
Franchise and multi-location clients should send the brand book rather than a screenshot of the colour, since brand books usually specify different values for different substrates and that is exactly the information we need.
Large format printing is priced per square foot and typically runs $4 to $12 per square foot depending on substrate, finishing and lamination. iCandy Grafix quotes each job by material and size, and per-square-foot pricing drops noticeably on larger runs and repeat work.
Standard digital prints are ready in 2 to 3 business days after proof approval at iCandy Grafix. Jobs needing lamination, contour cutting, mounting or installation add time, and we confirm a firm date when the quote is accepted rather than leaving it open.
For large format printing, 100 to 150 dpi at final print size is sufficient, because the work is viewed from several feet away rather than inches. Vector files are preferred for logos and text. iCandy Grafix can vectorize or redraw low-resolution artwork if you do not have a print-ready file.
Yes. Our flatbed printer applies ink directly onto rigid substrates including acrylic, aluminium composite, PVC, wood, glass and metal, with no vinyl layer in between. This produces a cleaner finish with no edges to lift and is the preferred method for acrylic signs.
Yes. iCandy Grafix prints single pieces as readily as bulk runs. Digital printing requires no plates and no setup, so a single poster or one mural panel is economical in a way traditional offset printing never is.
Up to 10 feet wide in a single continuous piece on roll media, with larger graphics produced as matched panels at any length. iCandy Grafix plans the panel breaks at design stage so seams fall on natural lines in the artwork.
Yes. Send Pantone or CMYK values, or your brand book, and iCandy Grafix will match on press. For brand-critical colours we can produce a printed proof before running the full job, which is the only reliable way to confirm a colour since screens and printed substrates render colour differently.
Tell us what it is, what size, what it is going on and when you need it. Artwork helps but is not required.
