You get somewhere between three and five seconds as somebody walks past your booth. What is on the back wall, and whether the setup looks deliberate or thrown together, decides whether they slow down.
That is the whole economics of event signage. You have already paid for the booth space, the travel, the hotel and two days of somebody’s time. The display is usually the smallest line on that budget and the one that determines whether the rest of it produced anything.
iCandy Grafix builds portable display systems for trade shows, expos, career fairs, farmers markets, grand openings, church events, and every kind of North Texas gathering in between. We print the graphics in our own shop in Anna. We specify hardware that survives being packed and unpacked forty times, and for events across the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, we will come and set it up.
Most people arrive at this page knowing they need “something for a booth” without knowing what the options are. Here is how we work through it in the shop.
Retractable banner stands and a fitted table throw. Two cases, both of which check as luggage or fit in a car boot. This is the minimum viable professional setup, and it costs a few hundred dollars.
Add a fabric backdrop wall when your budget allows, because the back wall is what people see from down the aisle, and the banner stands are what they read once they are already in front of you.
Buy a proper backdrop wall now rather than renting or improvising. It pays for itself by the third show, and the graphic can be replaced later without buying the frame again. That last point is the one people miss: the hardware is the expensive part, and it lasts for years, so replacing the message costs a fraction of the original spend.
Tent first, everything else second. Nothing damages a booth’s performance like a July afternoon in Texas with no shade, because people will not stand in direct sun to hear about your business. Get the custom event tent, then a matching table throw, then flags to mark the entrance.
SEG frames. You buy the aluminium frame once; it stays on the wall for years, and each seasonal graphic change arrives folded in an envelope for a fraction of the cost of a new rigid sign.
Call and describe the space and the event. We will tell you what you actually need, and reasonably often that is less than what you came in asking for. We would rather sell you a $400 setup that works than a $2,500 setup that sits in a storage unit after one show.
